If McKKKain brings up Ayers, he loses the Indies. If he doesn't, he loses the base. |
|
Decisions, decisions....
I am so thrilled that he has walked into this one.

1. Which is why I don't think he will because he can't turn off the indies any |
|
more than he already has. He has most of his base locked up BUT has eroded the indies. If he does any more damage to it, there will truly be no hope.

2. He's almost completely lost the indies, so I would expect him to |
|
leave everything out there tonight and just go after Obama with both barrels.
Trouble is, while that'll excite the base it might get their racist dander up again--drawing unwelcome attention.

5. He's lost many of the sane Republicans. His base now consists |
|
of nutjobs and hate mongers. Indies are long gone.

6. He'll have to figure out which group is most likely to waver... |
|
his "base" or should I say Sarah's base or the independents? Does he make a last ditch effort to pursuade some of the swing voters back to his side, or just go all in for the repub base, get them riled up, and hope it's enough to pull off an upset?

8. If he brings up Ayers at this point....... |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-15-08 08:33 AM by butlerd
He'll look like a f****** lunatic at this point. McCain/Palin have utterly failed to prove any nefarious connections between Ayers and Obama, most people don't really believe that Obama "palls around with terrorists" as Palin accuses him of, and, most importantly, by raising questions about Obama's connection to Ayers, they are implicitly raising questions about several REPUBLICANS (some of whom are even McCain SUPPORTERS) whom have either worked with Ayers or have FUNDED Ayers in the past and whom saw nothing inappropriate, unethical, or illegal about working with him. If he's going to attack Obama tonight, he'll have to think of better angle. Pushing the Ayers smear has been an epic fail (if not catastrophe) for McCain/Palin.
WHO exactly has WHO right where they want them?

9. I'm soo hoping McBush brings up Ayers |
|
His independent support will crater if he brings up all the reich wing talking points. McCain's frothing, knuckle-dragging freeper base demands that he brings up this BS.
They will accomplish the task we are all working for which is the election of Obama as pres and a working majority in Congress!
Thanks know-nothing, luddite. racist republicans! :)

Campaign and all the other idiotic things he's done? Anyone still needing proof has to have been in a coma for the last year.

They will make up an excuse why he didn't bring it up... they are stupid, racist and delusional.

14. Anyone in "the base" who is planning to vote for him as of today will not be lost to him, no matter |
|
what. This is the same 25% of America still claiming that Dummya is doing a fine job. Nothing is going to lose them, just as NOTHING Obama says tonight would make me vote for McCain or stay home Nov. 4.
