A friend of mine mentioned this last night that after 8-years as president the democratic nominee this year would be the VP--Joe Lieberman and that Lieberman may have been politically smart enough to pick Obama as his running mate.

4. Had Gore been elected
Obama would never have gotten picked to speak at the Democratic convention and would never have received all the attention he got after his speech.

6. Probably Clinton/Warner
Hillary would have easily won the nomination.

7. Actually, we'd probably be a radioactive wasteland.
Somehow, I don't think President Joe Lieberman would have worked out well for world peace. Hindsight being 20/20 and all that.

8. No
AL Gore would have been impeached for dereliction of duty in failing to protect the USA on September 11 by the Republican controlled congress and Joe would have been made President.

With a Neocon Joe as president he would order attacks on Syria, Iran and Iraq. I am afraid who he would name VP. Zell Miller? John McCain?

Joe would loose the election to probably Jeb Bush in 2004 based on the "theory" that Democrats are week on defense and cannot win quagmires wars in the ME.

My guess would be incumbent Jeb against Hillary Clinton.

Think about it, just saying if Al was president, not that his admin would threaten the Taliban with carpets of bombs or gold, would we have been attacked? I doubt it.

The elements that made it happen were because of Bush Cronies and there pals in the pentagon and CIA.

Just thinking.

9. Lieberman would have been a very unpopular VP, so I agree with Yavin4, Clinton as nominee... nt
