We got in line around 9am and there were already a couple hundred people there. The doors were due to open at 11am.

Within an hour or two, there were a couple thousand people in line. These peeps came in after us.

Floor near stage filling in with supporters

The Crown closed the doors at 10,000 people. There were another 2,000 standing outside listening to Barack on loud speaker.

Above and below picture, people filling in around the stage. The music was playing and some started doing The Hustle/Electric Side...something  ;)
Loud cheering for them everywhere!

I know the picture isn't the best but I'm just so dang happy to have 1 or 2 so we can say "We Were There!"

The coolest dude in the room!!!

Sidenote: We were STARVING so we left the crown, avoiding Obama's entourage leaving by about 5 minutes!! Pulled into Fuller's BBQ right down the street only to see people line up outside the door. On driving out of the parking lot we noticed the huge number of Obama bumper stickers...

Left Fuller's went to Golden Corral (couple miles a away) and more Obama bumper stickers LOL

Was a great day in Fayetteville!!!

1. You're going to be high on this excitement for a while!
I saw him in Greensboro about 3 weeks ago, and I am still high. OMG wasn't that an amazing feeling waiting for him and getting into the rally listening to the music, dancing with supporters from all backgrounds. And when Obama came didn't you feel lucky to be in the room? :hi:

6. What a great story! It feels so good to be amongst likeminded people...
so many supporters in one place is such an empowering feeling.

I told my hubby, at least I know I won't have to worry about my bumper stickers getting pulled of from some weirdo mccain nut because every other car either had stickers or rally signs in the windows, dashboard or in the rear window LOL.

So much Obama stuff on sale too OMG! Shirts, buttons, ball caps (I got a pink one) and I picked up a deck of Obama cards - Really KEWL!

I was also really impressed with the volunteers working the grounds and the floor. Very helpful, always cheerful and all of them seem to have endless energy.

He's going to make an incredible President and Joe (wish he'd been there for us) will be an excellent VP.

What a team!

9. I didn't buy anything at our rally lol.
But there was one lone McCain supporter that I saw after the rally was over. Bless his heart. Voices should be heard no matter how quiet.

10. Ugh I'm jealous, Obama didn't come to my state in the primaries or the GE
Maybe he'll come here in 2012.

13. We were there too!
My fiancee and I were also there...it was indeed a great day. We just got home a little while ago (we're in SC). I'll post my pics a little later. I don't think there are as good, but we'll see.

We got there at about 11AM and thought we weren't going to get in. I'm mildly ashamed to say that we "worked" our way to near the front knowing that lots were going to be left outside, but we didn't drive that far to get left out!

In your 5th picture the lady in the blue shirt was the early hit before Obama came on. She was rocking out down in the pit area dancing and having a grand ole time!
