I'm so excited to have cast my ballot for Barack Obama and Joe Biden!!!
No problems at all--the poll workers were helpful. All I needed was my driver's license OR voter registration card. I had to sign an application for absentee ballot to show that I had shown up and would not be eligible to vote at the polls on Election Day.
I voted on a hand ballot that's a simple fill-in-the-bubble type. The usual machine that takes your ballot and counts it electronically was there and worked. I was #154 to vote early, which began Saturday. Not too bad, considering I live in a town of less than 10K. I'll be working next weekend to try to get that number way, WAY up.

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking-news/story/733312.htmlLong lines, a few glitches... I would have gone, but I got sick last night. I'll give myself a few days to recover and go later this week.

I have not voted, yet (too many people this morning) but I work in the building where early voting is taking place. There were hundreds there to vote first thing this morning. This is in a small, mostly rural county. People were being bused in to vote. There were a couple of buses with the CHANGE signs on them. Didn't see anything like that from the McPain side. Most looked like retirees (a large percentage of our population is retirees). Also, many more African-Americans voting than I usually see at early voting.
