Obama's Final Week Plans
Edited on Fri Oct-24-08 08:08 PM by Laura PackYourBags
In my dreams..

Obama, with Biden, hits every major Blue city -- LA, NYC, Hartford, Chicago, Newark, Dover, San Francisco, DC, Boston, Seattle,
Philly, Providence, Detroit, and Madison.

They draw hundreds of thousands of people and fire them up into a frenzy.

He Doesn't mention McPain of McPalin, not once.

He talks about dreams, and unity, and how we will, together, as one country
dig ourselves out of the pile of BushShit.

5. Why the hell are they going to NYC, LA, Boston and Providence?
Why are they spending time in safe blue states? I guess it's kind of cool to give everyone a chance to see them, but it seems like kind of a waste.

8. My theory.... fire up the base -- let the rest see how enthusiatic the
rest of the country is. I think it would create unbelievable enthusiasm and would make
national news every single hour. End on a high note.

I knew no one would agree with me. I still wish it would happen.

9. BTW- during the PA primary - the point was made that if O had
spent more time in the safe cities, rallying the base, he would have done a hell of a lot better.

15. True, although a popular vote strategy isn't really suited for an Electoral College campaign
Much of the strength of Obama's landslide will come from his geographic spread across the map into un-blue-able states like North Carolina and North Dakota. I'd gladly trade 10,000 New York votes for a mere one thousand North Dakota votes where it might mean the difference between winning or losing that state.

10. I am glad that you are not advising Obama on his plans
What would rallies in LA, NYC, Chicago, and San Francisco exactly do for us at this point?
