Goergia Early Voting Turnout Demographics
967,210 have voted as of end of the day 10-23-2008:

Black 342,802 35.4 % (25% of the vote in 2004)
White 587,230 60.7% (70% of the vote in 2004)
Asian-Pacific Islander 3,992 .41%
Hispanic 5,213 .54%
Native American 137 .01%
Other 27,836 2.9%
Female: 56.15%
Male: 40.9 %

Note: The gender numbers do not add up to 100 percent because the gender of voters listed in the racial category “Other,” is not included in the data.

TOP 5 COUNTIES IN TURNOUT

DeKalb 88,487 (73% Kerry in 2004)
Fulton 72,969 (59% Kerry in 2004)
Gwinnett 49,274 (66% Bush in 2004)
Cobb 48,674 (62% Bush in 2004)
Henry 33,841 (67% Bush in 2004)

1. We are two of that 967,210 IF they counted all the counties in Ga.
We don't live in one of the top five counties, but in one just neighboring Gwinnett. I'll still be needing smelling salts if they really do call Ga. for Obama on Nov. 4th, but I'm HOPING we can at least kick Sacby's butt out the damn door!

Obama will rake in huge support in Dekalb and Fulton (Atlanta city). Not so much in "God's Country" - Cobb.

4. My niece who lives in GA
was visiting the other day, and was dressed all in pink to celebrate GA's turning pink on the electoral vote maps; lol!
