The irony about Rev. Wright
Is just that his sound bytes play badly. Listening to his whole sermons, I agree with him. There are times when I say "God damn America!"

1. All the Repukes will be saying "God damn America!" come Nov. 5th
Seeing more than 50% of the country vote for a "Marxist Muslim terrorist pal" will drive them mad.

2. Same here.
The man speaks the truth. I think true Patriots are critical when they see something wrong. The dangerous ones are those who let shit like torture happen and will beat you over the head if you still aren't saying, 'God Bless America'.

10. He does speak the truth. Once you get past the rough way he comes across, he is absolutely on targe...
His delivery is in your face; but you have to listen to the message, not the messenger.

4. Pat Buchanan told a story on MSNBC...

How people in the South would take the American flag and hang it "upside down" in opposition to the civil rights movement. It's funny because these people represent the same "culture demographic" that criticizes other Americans when they are at odds with the Country we all love.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sean Hannity calls the Weathermen terrorists for planting bombs in opposition to the Vietnam war.

But I've never heard Sean Hannity call the KKK terrorists for planting bombs in opposition to everyone having equal rights under the law.

6. Just the idea of the confederate battle flag that many rednecks and bigots fly is ANTI-AMERICAN
it boggles the mind.

9. if you understand history and are 100% objective...

then you can easily say... the confederate flag is the most anti-american symbol in the history of this country.

It's the symbol of an invading army and nation that tried to destroy the USA! (Yes I said invading, the Confederacy attacked the USA first.. look it up!)

I don't understand how when people discuss the Civil War they say it was the confederacy verse the Union. (Or North vs South) I don't like the term Union. It was the confederacy vs THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

The confederate flag is a symbol equal to the Nazi flag in terms of its historical threat to the USA.

5. Sarah Palin, Ashley Todd
the awful folk at the McCain/Palin rallies reminds me that Rev Wright was right.

11. and the fact that he is the LEAST crazy of the 'reverends' that are
associated with the campaigns.

I love the man, actually. I agree with everything I've ever heard him say.

The Goddam America sermon in it's entirety is spot on.
