I can't wait for the day after election day. |

I want to see how the nations of the world welcome us back to sanity. I can't wait to see the reaction in Britain, Germany, France, the nations of Africa, Japan, Russia, China, Korea, India, Australia, the nations of South America. I'm looking forward to that more than the reaction here at home. Does that make me French?

2. I'm taking the day off. Whatever the result, I would be useless at work. |

Some might say that's true every day that's NOT post-election.
Be that as it may, I want to stay up late to see all the races come in. Even if they call it for Barack by 9 p.m., there's plenty more important out there.

I put in for November 5th. I want to see the returns, then the reactions the next day. Of course, to be honest, I'll probably be hung over as well.

5. I'm taking that day off, too, and for the same reason. |
|
I'd be useless at work, no matter what the outcome of the election.

We're working on a project with a deadline.
But I already told my boss I will be v-e-r-y tired that day, and he said he'll be just fine with that. :)

8. Election Day is always a paid holiday at our company. |

It's just that important. And, personally, I believe Election Day should be a Federal holiday.
On edit: A holiday for everyone but the poll workers and various BOE, of course.
