5. Haha
Thank you- that was my biggest laugh I had today. :)

The Bloodless Coup of 2000 revisited- if that happens again, I don't know what I would do.

3. I'll predict:
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 10:20 PM by tedoll78
Popular Vote:
Kerry: 49.5%
Bush: 48.5%
Other: 2%

Electoral Vote:
Kerry-Edwards: 280
Bush-Cheney: 258

I'm convinced that it'll be a close fight to the death where GOTV puts the nail in the Chimp's coffin.

7. That's fuzzy math, tedoll78!
But as long as that extra 1% is in our favor...:)

4. My prediction
Edited on Tue Sep-07-04 10:17 PM by NYC Liberal
I think it's going to be pretty close, though not as close as 2000.

Popular Vote
Kerry - 50%
Bush - 48%
Other - 2%

Electoral Vote
Kerry - 274
Bush - 264

Edit: I used this to do the electoral vote.

9. Popular vote
Kerry 52%
Bush 46%
Other 2%

Electoral vote:

Kerry 340
Bush 198

And my electoral vote prediction gave Bush a close WV win. Guess I'm frustrated with that state. I put Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Ohio, Arkansas, Nevada, and Missouri in our column.

10. I started with the 2000 map
gave FL to Bush, NH, NV, MO, OH, TN to Kerry... of course, in that scenario, if we lose OH, MO, and TN it's a 269-269 tie.

11. 269-269 tie means Bush wins...
GOP congress votes him right back into power.
