MinnGov. Tim PawlentyGov. Tim Pawlentyesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who almost became John McCain's running mate, is in town today stumping for the GOP ticket.

He's joined by Sandy Froman, immediate past president of the National Rifle Association of America.

The two will appear at a 1:15 p.m. economic roundtable at the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City's 2008 Home Show at Bartle Hall.

At 3:30 p.m., the two stop by Show-Me Shooters, 287 NE 69 Highway in Kansas City. At 5:45 p.m., they stop at Jackson County GOP headquarters at 3600 Noland Road in Independence.
