Donna Brazile is a freakin' idiot and the conversation being held now on CNN |
|
with Brazile and Bill Bennett is utterly disgusting. It's a complete bash of atheists and agnostics. And Donna made the idiot comment that there's lots of evidence for the existence of God. Then she went on to make some stupid offensive remark about how associating with atheists gives you the opportunity to covert them.
I hate this crap.

...but why is this in GDP? It has nothing to do with Obama or the election.

And it shameful to attack a group of people based on their lack of beliefs. It kind of pisses me off that religious belief is an issue in the first place.

7. fact: Nonreligious is the fastest growing religious group in the U.S... |
|
after the 2010 census, it'll probably be even more obvious. It's still a relatively small group, but at the current growth rate, the U.S. will be completely absent of religion inside 70 years. (obviously, the growth will level out at some point, and probably some point soon -- there will always be religious folks, and I doubt more than a third of Americans will be nonreligious in 70 years -- but the fact remains that forward-thinking politicians should start thinking about the future.)

8. I hate it, too. You'd think I sacrifice small animals at a living room shrine. |

I can honestly say the atheists I know are no more or less compassionate than the Christians I know. Usually you can't tell one from the other . . . in the northeast anyway.

which includes freedom FROM religion.
Missed opportunity to stand up for true democracy. Freedom of thought.
