McCain and Palin's final campaign appearances Monday: In Nevada, of all places.
This is all they got left: Trying to salvage Nevada's five electoral votes. Not Florida (27), Ohio (20) or Pennsylvania (21).

Not even Virginia (13) or North Carolina (15). They are both going to be in the same state for their final rallies, a state that went for Bush twice,, and has just five electoral votes.

Does anybody else think they must know it's over? They are going to take a whuppin', unless they pull off election fraud on a scale heretofore undreamed of:

"In an effort to claim some last-minute votes, Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will return to Nevada on Monday.

While many details have not been announced, party officials said that McCain will visit Las Vegas and Palin will visit Reno.

This comes on the news that the Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama has widened the gap between the campaigns during early voting, according to the secretary of state.

At the end of the first week of early voting, 52 percent of the people polled said they have voted for or would vote for Obama, compared to the 40 percent who said the same about McCain, election officials said."

2. I'd say they're taking a gamble, but they have nothing left to gamble with.
