Good God, can we get Rachel Maddow a better producer? |
|
Her lighting is nearly always unflattering - especially tonight with Obama. Someone keeps missing cues - last night they cut away to a commercial in the middle of a sentence. There's always weird background noise.
What the hell? She's a brilliant interviewer, gets great ratings, and doesn't even rate a decent producer? :nuke:

1. I think part of the lighting is that she is not in her studio. She is somewhere in FLA. |
|
It may have been a patched together job.
I hear the background noise every week too. It sounds like my microwave beeping.

2. I agree.. they seem to put her in the worst light and sat her in a very |
|
unflattering manner. She needs a better producer.

4. It's almost funny how they cut to her every time she looks worried. |
|
Not just worried, but downright down. I happen to like it. It's far better than a glued on smile. But it's not good for her.

22. That's exactly what my wise old dad just said. |
|
It's funny. He's 84, and watches her and the Daily Show. He asked ME if I had just seen her interview. He loves her. We're both the engineering kinds. So that translates to a little negative at times.

14. Yes, all inquiries are to be sent to the producer. |
|
Dear Producer,
You suck. I want your job.

16. I might even sign it with something like |
|
"Very sincerely yours"
or
"Best wishes always"
I mean...really. I should maintain some decorum.

8. Not only a better producer. She also needs a better make up person as well. |

She looks very natural, which is nice. But the light especially focused on the two, big moles (bumps) on her throat. You couldn't miss it.
I also agree with the lighting as well.

9. I notice none of this..... |
|
I'm so focused on what's being SAID. I'd stand on my deck with a TV antenna in my hand and be happy to hear her.
What's up with all this Rachel angst the past 48 hours?
Chill the EFF out!

20. Make no mistake. . I practically crawled on all fours and hung out |
|
four story windows to hear her with Lynn Winstead on her morning show.. and I'd do it again if I had to, to watch her show. I just don't think she's getting the respect she's due with some of the production problems.

18. Hmmm...well I do have a nice TV |
|
Or at least it was 4 years ago. Probably by now it's crap. And it's only like 32 inches. So really, maybe it's not so great.
Or maybe I just am really picky. :)

15. There are some nights where her eye make-up makes her look |
|
racoonish and on either her first or second show, she had an orange pallor about her.
