McCain CEDING GOTV TO OBAMA!!!! |
|
:wow: I really think many McCain voters just won't even bother showing up to vote and and it's going to be a massive blowout. http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/10/31/03654/518/249/647590

2. repubs seldom really "volunteer" |
|
everyone I have ever met expects something for any effort they give. So if they are not paid, they no work. OTOH in our midwest county of 45,000 we will have over a hundred volunteers this weekend. Many of those will bring food and drink for the others. Out of their own pockets!

3. that new McCain ad in the article more or less says "Obama will give your money to black people" |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-31-08 09:19 AM by emulatorloo
It equates obama's tax plan to welfare -- I've been waiting for them to do that -- subtle racism going on. (Obama will give your money to black people
Glad to hear McCain's ground game is shrinking further still.

9. Not to mention the "newspaper" headline shown is from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review |
|
the house organ of right-wing billonaire-douchebag Richard Mellon Scaife. The Tribune-Review, which had been largely quiescent since its shrill efforts to smear President Clinton, burst back upon the national scene by "breaking" the story of a nonexistent 6'4", 200-lb. black dude's savage non-attack on McCain campaign volunteer Ashley Todd.
The legitimate Pittsburgh paper is the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

5. McCain thinks TV ads > GOTV? |
|
Given how inept his campaign has been, I guess this is not a surprising development.

6. It's the gentlemanly thing to do. |
|
Obama, in turn, should acknowledge the MCcain camp's superiority in voter suppression.

8. They're choosing TV smears over the ground game. |
|
Just shows how vile they truly are. Might work. Might shave a point or two. But it's definitely not losing with grace. The United States is a LIBERAL Country.:dem: -Laelth
