Feelings
Edited on Fri Oct-31-08 07:03 PM by Mike 03
I wish I had the words to express how I'm feeling.

It's a mix of anxiety and terror, happiness and confidence, and some new emotions I can't even explain. Mostly it is a very good feeling. I'm confident about next week.

I hope it's okay to share this, but I don't know if it is. Someone very close to me said she would take her life if Obama didn't win. It's a relative of mine. Naturally, I have been talking her out of saying that, but at the same time, I understand her very well. (She's my mom)

I'm out of breath.... And the U.S. is out of time... If we don't win this one, I'm going to give up on politics, forever.

3. You are not alone.
There may be a revolution.

Because the choices given to us were so stark, until there would be no doubt as to the type of country that we live in if the old white guy won. It would be so utterly depressing, it would take this country back to the dark ages....and the world would shun us, and China would take us out of business.

that's why it won't happen.

4. I know that's kind of dramatic, but that is what scares me.
She would never say that... She never said it about any other election.

Sorry to dump that here, but I don't have anyone to talk about this with.

6. I understand-I couldn't stand it when Kerry lost--but we will win this time
I really considered leaving the country when Kerry lost--really. I imagine if McCain wins, I would probably move for sure this time; however, I don't think I have to leave this time.
