with a bumper sticker I gave him, "Who would Jesus bomb?" and a guy in a Suburban pulls up next to him and yells, "Your bumper sticker doesn't make sense, there weren't any bombs when Jesus lived." My son responded, from a deeper theological position than mr. suburban, "Isn't He alive now?" The suburban guy was dumbstruck as if he had never heard such a thing. Such is the theology of the repugs. If you profess Christianity, you have to accept Jesus lived, died, and was resurrected to live again. There is nothing in theology of Christ the warrior, Christ the plumber, Christ the POW.

Sea and a credible theory is that an explosion happened from time to time against the villages that were along the shore.

nor would he use him. I do not care if you believe HE actually existed. Jesus is not bound by gender. Jesus, like Mahayana Buddhism is about evolution of the human spirit and it has been corrupted by man. Jesus is a metaphor for higher levels of thinking and feeling. Like many "savior" mythologies, Jesus, was the best of humanity, like many other historical figures who tried to put a "humanist" face on life, it is an attempt at altruism
Mind you I do not think altruism is merely a Christian concept. Plenty of cultures prior to it has similar characteristics.

13. Thus, it is always incumbent on the non-poor to clothe, feed, and otherwise "keep" the poor. |

that why it is incumbent for those who have to help those who need it. Ultimately, it is a a selfish act really. If I do not take care of my brother, he may be the one who breaks into my home to steal what little I may have, hehe.

There are entire countries where "the poor" have been eliminated; and it is possible for "poor" to be eliminated entirely, except as a linear comparison to "wealthy".
