Three things I notice haven't been the subject of posts here recently.
1. That the sky is blue.

2. That the grass is green.

3. That Joe Lieberman needs to lose his committee chair.

Are all of these things simply too obvious to discuss?

1. Whether we kick him out of the caucus or not...
...he will become a pariah in the Senate until 2012.

4. Is it worth a potential 60?
Once the election is over, that is the time for housecleaning.

5. I'll say yes. Obama plans to run a bipartisan government anyway.
Lieberman won't be ostracized, just demoted. If he wants to keep on caucusing with the Dems he should be allowed to.

6. I don't think his bipartisanship will endure the obstructionism.
And that being so, when the R's refuse to be a part of anything productive as they attempt to block any progress, I suspect that will change.

I do want Lieberman out of our councils. But I wouldn't expect any changes on that front until the new balance of power is somewhat settled(or even actually known).
