ABC News serial smearer Jake Tapper strikes again, claims Obama "demonizing independent achievers"

ABC News Senior National Correspondent Jake Tapper (who, earlier in the campaign, struck with a hard-hitting investigative report claiming that Obama is lying about having quit smoking) takes one sentence out of a paragraph quote of Obama explaining why he is NOT attacking the rich to claim Obama's... attacking the rich:

Tapper's disgusting smear concludes with a claim that Obama is attacking Ayn Rand (oh no!):

It would seem to be, <...> what happens when independent achievers are demonized.

Which would fit with this description of those who want to keep their hard-earned tax dollars as "selfish."

Guess Tapper isn't happy being a "journalist," he wants to write McCain's attack ads for him. Is this guy supposed to be a reporter, or an editorial writer?

...don't know if that makes him a lefty, though. Could have just been a convenient stepping-stone on his quest for power.

I heard him on NPR defending his buddy Stephanopoulos for his appalling moderation of the Hillary/Obama debate in which he asked a question specifically written by Sean Hannity.

8. I remember that story he did...

about a video with someone saying something fucked up, but now I can't remember what it was. I think he did a couple other stories that hit the net big. It was odd that he was an ABC writer, but I guess maybe that was the hook.

Anyway, every Ayn Rand nut I've ever met hasn't been an "independent achiever", just a full-of-themselves asshole. And I consider myself a left/small-l libertarian.
