Poll question: Predict what Obama's popular vote total will be |
|
This should be real interesting because Obama is winning heavily populated states like California and New York by as many as 15% more than Kerry. Even in Red states like Indiana he is getting 20% more than Kerry. Spread that out over 50 states and add in all the millions of new voters registered and the number could be incredible!
Bush got 62 Million in 04'.
I predict Obama will get.....

5. There were 121 Million who voted last time |
|
If he got 58% of 121 Million then that is 70 Million. However, add in the millions of extra voters and the number should be a few million more. Of course those millions of new voters will be split almost in half.
I am not sure he will get 58%. I think he might get around 55%. I would guess he gets about 70 Million with the new voters added in.

7. You may be watching the numbers of new voters closer than I am |
|
I have no earthly idea how many there are but I hear it's tens of millions. Do you have any estimates?

8. I'm Under The Same Impression As You Are, Tens Of Millions But No Real Idea. But I'm Not Just |

counting on new voters. Our turnout % in elections always sucks. I think this cycle, we're gonna see that number spike. I think with the addition of all the new voters and all the excitement and importance of this election with already registered but in the past were too lazy to get out there type voters, that we'll see a huge record breaking turnout.
I'm being optimistic, of course, but I also think what we're going to see on Tuesday is the best GOTV ground game we've ever witnessed.

9. I heard in passing that over 130,000,000 total votes are expected this year. |
|
So, I figure Obama will get about 80,000,000.
