Computer crash sends Pima County (AZ) early voters home
Edited on Fri Oct-31-08 08:27 PM by Fridays Child
From a KOLD 13 email:

Computer crash sends Pima County early voters home
By Brian White - email

A glitch in the early voting system has left hundreds of eager citizens crest fallen Friday night, who (were) told by voting officials to come back Saturday to cast their ballot.

Political Specialist Bud Foster is working the story right now, but KOLD News does know the computer system in charge of issuing ballots to early voters is down, causing the problem.

Early voting was supposed to end at 5 PM, today, but it looks like they'll open the sites tomorrow. That's good because the lines were very long, this afternoon.

2. Luckily, the county recorder is a Democrat.
So, hopefully, she won't put up with any shenanigans.
