I'm having trouble prioritizing which Repubs I want defeated most and in what order...
Obviously, McCain/Palin need to go down first.

And from a purely personal point of view as a North Carolinian we have suffered enough --please free us from Elizabeth Dole.

From there I am at a loss as to which Repubs need to go the most...

Stevens of Alaska is already gone... one way or the other.
Mitch McConnell would be a good choice here.
Chambliss of Georgia needs to go for so many reasons.
Norm Coleman's loss to a comedy writer is poetic justice.

Unfortunately it does not look like Lindsay Graham (R-SC) and Jeff Sessions (R-AL) don't look like they will be leaving this election cycle.

But John Cornyn (R-TX) is within striking distance.

Help me out here fellow DUers .... who DESERVES to be the first voted off Capitol Hill?

1. You are certainly on target with the call of the ouster of Norm Coleman
The bastard defiled Wellstone's office. Love to Cronyn go down. What about Libby Dole?

3. I didn't really pay attention to what a piece of work Dole
was until the "godless" ad thing--I only knew she was generally considered useless. Useless, lying, desperate and bigoted? That's a pretty foul combo. Mitch McConnell goes without saying--

But Saxby Chambliss (the man's name....if he were not a real person, he'd be a character in a Tom Wolfe novel and come to a bad end.) Slandering Max Cleland?

I suppose I care a lot about the issues, but there's just something about that kind of campaigning that makes it feel personal for me--like the people who do that are not merely bad politicians or don't have the right priorities, but are bad people, too.

8. Of the one's that are up for re-election and are beatable
I'd go with (after mcbush) Chambliss of GA would have to be first because of the unconscionable way he ran his campaign in 2002.

mc connell because of the symobolic nature of beating him

wicker in MS, because we haven't done well in National elections in MS since Carter won in 76.

In the House

1. Don Young Criminal-Alaska
2. Musgrave
3. Bachmann
4. Shays
5. Jean Schmidt (Ohio)

13. On the House side there are too many ... makes my head spin....
Patrick McHenry of NC always triggers the 'cringe effect' every time I hear him speak. Virginia Fox of NC is almost as bad.

It will be interesting watching the Repub survivors 'spin themselves into oblivion' after the Obama express takes a major majority in both Houses of Congress.

When Repubs moan about the DEMS having all the power after the election and how there won't be any checks and balances --I just agree with them, and assure them it will be much worse than they can possibly imagine.... step back and watch the implosion.

19. There are so many truly mean and disgusting Republicans in
the House and Senate, it's hard to choose. I haven't checked on 2 of my real "favorites," Marsha Blackburn and Virginia "The Old Hag" Fox. They would definitely be in my top 20.
