What Drudge expects from the Liberal Blogosphere......him and AP.
They expect us to get giddy about their sorry ass stories. The stories that they print without attribution. Stories about Polls, and other bullshit.

They expect us to start about 12 to 30 threads on the subjects that they have determined should get Blogosphere "BUZZ"...because the buzz legitimizes their stories.

Let's not give them what they want.

NOT THIS TIME!

3. Yes....but not about what they actually say.
IN other words, I'm not spreading their shit for them....and there lies the difference.

6. Bless you Frenchie
Come on people, Drudge has an accuracy rate of about .333, good for a Major League hitter, horrible for a 'reporter.' Some people are reacting like a Pavlov dog and thats a Bitch.

7. Personally
I like getting my info from all over the place. I learned my lesson here in 04 when people here were trying to calm everyone down and saying Kerry was going to win and slapping everyone down who had concerns but that is just my opinion.

8. That is all well and good
but getting info from Drudge is akin to passing along information from my crazy uncle.

11. Actually, it can kind of work that way,
which was my point of the OP.

And yeah...if can act like we belong to a zoo sometimes, and that is what I'm am requesting we don't do.

12. It took me months
to get over the shock in 04. I am more cautious and get my information from all manner of sources since then. I don't think I could go through that kind of grief again. I was totally unprepared for the idea that we might lose. It is not always a good thing to be insulated.

13. Interesting
In 2000 I was devastated, could not understand why people couldn't see through the Bush B.S. In 2004 I was driving into work and knew it was over. Called my RW asshole owner of the company I worked for and gave him until 5:00 PM to come up with a new compensation package. Figured if the Country was going to get screwed all I could do that day was to screw him.

19. My dad voted
Dem for the first time two months before he passed away for Kerry. He was an old type republican. He told me that these people in office were not republicans, they were crazy people.
I personally knew scores of people who crossed over to vote for Kerry.

It seemed so obvious what a horrible Prez Bush had been. I spent my time in the election election reform part of this board trying to figure out how the exit polls had been so wrong afterwards. When they held hearings here in Orlando on election irregularities, I was there at the courthouse taking notes. I still think it may have been stolen but it should not have even been close.

The loss really hit me like a ton of bricks. 2000 was bad but the idea that this country would turn around and re elect that scum just did not compute in my mind.

15. Drudge Is Doing Nothing But Exciting The Slow Class
Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 02:21 AM by Stephist
That makes up his followers. He's really doing a fine job of building them up just to have their spirits crushed on Tuesday. It's almost comical how giddy the Drudge bots get after he posts his bullshit.

16. When you start a thread about Drudge but don't tell us what he's saying, I will go there to find out
just like when I was a kid and if I thought my parents were hiding something from me, I had to find it.

Which of course puts money in Drudge's pocket because I link to him instead of you just telling me what he is saying.

I went to his site and I can't for the life of me figure out what there is to hide there. What is so explosive it deserved a thread telling me not to talk about it.

I can usually ignore threads that promote silly ideas but don't tell me not to look because I'm still trying to find the dirty books in my mom's closet.
