Election lexicon we will be happy to never hear again after next week:
I'll get the ball rolling with the obvious: "Maverick"
From the world of the pundits:

"Parachuted in" referencing McCain going back to DC to "handle" the financial crisis
"Bradley Effect"
"She has a compelling story" (re: Palin)

From McCain:
"My friends"
"I've been fighting for my country since I was 17 and I have the scars to prove it"

What phrases and words have pushed your "annoying button" this election cycle"

3. If I never hear that again it'll be too soon.
And I never want to see Joe's ugly face again either.

7. "Undecided voter"
It just makes me want to literally run across one of these self-described "undecided voters" and slap the bloody hell out of them!

12. My friends.
I am totally over that phrase.

And the word Maverick is gone forever. It's toast.
