If we're fortunate enough to see Obama win on Tuesday, it's really going to get ugly so don't let up |
|
. . .I'm ready for it and I want to remind you that victory on Tuesday is just the first win in a long war to bring this country back around.
You guys think the Right is scared to death of Obama being elected? Wait until they have to deal with the reality of what an Obama win means, especially with strong majorities in the House and Senate. The shit that is going to be thrown at Obama is going to make the shit Clinton dealt with look like a cake walk.

see that Americans CAN pick the best candidate. And Mr. Obama has a whole lot of support to lighten his load.

and yeah the Reich wing will get even uglier in the next four years. They will be in continuous attack mode, like when Clinton was President.
They will only marginalize their putrid party even more than it is now.

4. I don't really care how damned bitter they are. |

The reThugs have nobody to blame for this but themselves. Eight years ago they got in there, fraudulently it's true, but they got in there nevertheless. In retrospect, even I who hated them from Day 1 would not have believed that in that time they could destroy the Constitution, dismantle civil rights, bankrupt the economy, ruin our international image and dangerously threaten our relationships with our allies. In eight years, they have managed to bring this country to its knees, and now they're kicking and screaming because they're about to get run out of town on a rail?! In my opinion, they're getting off far too lightly. Most of them, including Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Gonzalez and an extensive list of here unnamed others, should be facing criminal indictments and subsequent significant jail time. Hopefully those indictments will not be off the table in January when we adults are back in charge.

5. He does have a few supporters here and there. |

I think he'll be alright.
And power has changed hands a few times already before in our history - it will again. For the real nutjobs, there is the police. All Obama has to do, is do the right thing. As long as he does a good job and has truth on his side (as opposed to handing them the ammo as Clinton did), their smears of necessity have to be pretty lame.
