Jefferson County, Colorado... We need volunteers!

A poll released yesterday shows Obama behind by one point in this county.

If you are like me and a bit phobic about calling and canvassing, there are other things you can do.

The north Lakewood office (Colfax and Kipling) could use a few more runners on election day. We will be helping out the poll watchers, getting food and drinks to people standing in line, etc. The day before will be distributing door hangers to Democrats who have not yet voted.

My transmission gave out on my car this weekend, so I hope I'll be getting a new one (or a new car) on Monday. If that happens I can be in Lakewood on Tuesday, it's only about 40 minutes from where I live. PM me on Monday and see if I've gotten my transportation act together by then. It's too bad the lightrail doesn't head out that way.
