McCain campaign manager has been citing their NH comeback as proof of McCain's ability to win even when the media and the polls have written them off.

But if you look at the data, it was clear from 12/27 onward -- over 10 days out -- that McCain was going to win New Hampshire (to everyone but Suffolk, at least).

New Hampshire was not an unexpected victory for McCain -- it was accurately predicted by the polls.

1. Thanks for saying this. I am just too tired to note the lies and exaggerations at this point, but

the whole comeback thing is ridiculous.
What's not a myth, however, is that John McCain likes to be the underdog.
But really, what that means is that he is not comfortable being in the lead, or leading, or being a leader.
I think this has been well-documented over the past 9 years.
