North Carolina woman becomes 1st-time voter at age 103
"I wanted my vote to make a difference for my grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. I'm worried about what they'll have to go through". One of her motivations for voting (for the first time ever) was Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, who, like her, was raised in a Pentecostal church.

6. I had the same reaction when I saw the headline today
It took several paragraphs before the explanation was given. It shows me that religion was obviously McCain's reason for choosing Palin, and nothing else. Gives me a stomach ache, but unfortunately, it's reality!

4. She voted for McCain---- because of she thinks Sarah will bring the right message
or something. It's on the front page of the Asheville Citizen-Times.
