Ahhnold was in Columbus, Ohio campaigning for McCain Friday.

Nothing out of the ordinary, except for a couple of remarks. First, he says he move from Europe to the U.S. to get away from Socialistic governments, feeding red meat to the crowd.

Then, he goes into this detailed critique of Obama's body. Making fun of his slender build and what he would do to make him more muscular. That was a little over the top for me. Ahhnold seems to have forgotten that his he-man body was the product of all of those drugs and other products he doped himself up with. Like, is that someone you should emulate?

Here's an excerpt of the article:

By JULIET WILLIAMS, Associated Press Writer

Friday, October 31, 2008

Schwarzenegger's own effort to raise the sales tax didn't stop him from slamming Obama's proposals, which the Democrat says would reduce taxes for 95 percent of American workers.

Playing on the McCain campaign's recent efforts to paint Obama as a socialist, Schwarzenegger recalled his own childhood in Austria, where he said socialism killed opportunities. That, he said, prompted him to flee to the United States, where he made hundreds of millions of dollars as a Hollywood celebrity.

"Now Senator Obama says he wants to pursue the same spread-the-wealth ideas that Europe had decades ago," he said.

1. My governor makes me sick.
He, who looks like Jabba the Hut, shouldn't be criticizing anyone's looks.

2. I hope Maria locks him out of the house tonight. :-)
People in Columbus, Ohio didn't seem too enraptured with your governator last night, either! Looks like a lot of empty seats showed up, though:

3. McCain drew only 6000 Thursday in NW Ohio. They had to bus in 4000 school kids to fill the place!
People are not excited about Crash and Mooselini. Then, you throw in Ahhnold and you still only fill about half of the venues.

8. Nationwide Arena holds about 20k.
According to The Dispatch this morning, it was about 1/4 full. I'm amazed they were that up-front about it. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

7. I think he and McCain envision themselves as these young macho guys. Seriously. McCain's campaign is
all about being tough. So old school and strange.

4. Just when I think
I can stomach my Governor a bit he pulls a stunt like this. He was awful in his first term, but has been better second time around. He's come out in opposition to Prop 8.

Now he's talking crap again. :puke:

5. I approve of our governor being against Prop 8
but he wanted an increase in the sales tax which hits the poor the hardest. The wealthiest in CA, Arnold included, are not paying their fair share.

If Arnold were a Dem governor, he'd be recalled because of the billions of dollars CA is in the hole.
