21. I believe it has to do with 'cash available'. I know the RNC is taking out LOANS in addition to

getting big dollar donations.

I imagine the Obama campaign has already committed its money to various things-- offices, staffers, ads set to run before they realized they could compete in AZ, etc-- and they need this last cash infusion to a) rack up the highest popular vote total possible and b) combat the GOP's '72-hour strategy' which looks like it will involve a LOT more dirty tricks before Monday is over.

I TRUST Barack and his team and I was happy to put a little more on my credit card knowing that the return on my investment will be 100 times greater than money I gave. :)

$2300, but I thought I would rather risk jail or fines or whatever the penalty is than leave anything on the table. But then, I saw at the website that anything over $2300 automatically gets allocated to the DNC.

I started donating last December because "early money is like yeast." (What EMILY's list stand for, but early money works the same way for male candidates.) I was in the first million donors. I am so proud of that.
