Bill Burton doesn't know the RNC's running Rev. Wright ads?
Chris Matthews just claimed the Repubs. are NOT running such a dirty campaign and specifically mentioned their "non-use" of Rev. Wright. But they ARE using him in ads in swing states and Bill Burton didn't even know that, I guess, since he didn't say they ARE, but pointed to the "pallin' around with terrorists" line.

1. give the guy a break...
he mentioned the palling around with terrorist statement that Palin made and Tweety interrupted him and they went onto something else...it's hard to get all your points in a very short period of time, especially on TV with Tweety....

3. I wasn't sure if it was the RNC or a 527
Either way, the RNC HAS been using a lot of slimey ass stuff in mailers, etc...and a McCain spokesperson tried to bring up Rev Wright without mentioning his name the other day...I like Chris, but I'm fucking sick of him trying to give credit to Mccain for not making Rev Wright an issue...McCain knows that he has other people to do it for him.

5. The Wright Ad I saw was from a 527
The RNC and the McCain campaign have both been running commercials here (Jax, FL) about how inexperienced Obama is and how he'll raise taxes, blah blah, but none of those commercials directly referenced Rev. Wright.

13. Not where I live in western WI. I rarely see any McCain ads lately.
The Obama ads tend to be very upbeat and informational.

Who knows. But even if so, it's not working.

10. Kelly O'Donnell just said he told the RNC NOT to use Rev. Wright.
She and Matthews were talking about how "honorable" McCain is and how he refuses to "go there." I guess he doesn't KNOW they're running those ads?! :eyes:

15. She's clearly "in the tank" for McCain...
probably because she's been traveling with him for so long. Yup-McCain pretends to be honorable. He's anything BUT.

17. CNN (Dana Bash and Ed Henry) do better coverage of McCain these days
They don't parrot the spin as much as Kelly...they know that there are problems in McCain land.

16. Wow. That sounds like an addmission to being part of the campaign
when you give them advice about what ads to run. NBC needs to pull Kelly O'Donnell's sorry ass out of that campaign, she's developed Stockholm syndrom.

19. Dick Morris is claiming $6 Million will be spent on Wright ads this weekend.
I don't know whether he is bluffing or stating something he truly knows. It's difficult to know with him as he just says shit.
