I mean seriously, I've had one person in my family who lied to a pollster before, but they did it in an obvious way, telling a pollster that something really bad a candidate did (that showed how corrupt they were) made them much more likely to vote for that person.

At this point, I would have thought that keeping Obama voters motivated to go to the polls would be a good thing, and that the exit polls are the ones not to lie about.

edited to add that you have my sympathy because you obviously had good intentions, and to be honest, I might have done the same myself; complacency is my second biggest worry after election fraud, and again, exit polls are the ones that would raise red flags, not Zogby polls.
