Only Richard Nixon has pulled that off 6 years later. Americans are typically not open to second chances on a presidential ticket. I think there's little chance we'll see her again nationally. If the fundie right wants her, they'll forgo their far more formidable Huckabee. So maybe there's a reason to want her to try again in 4 years. No way the RNC would put both of them on the same ticket.
