17. I thought it was really funny too, and he did great job (way better |
|
than Palin)
But I don't think election wise it was good for the campaign.
The palin 2012 shirts made it seem like they really do think they will lose
It came off as he was making fun of his running mate etc.

23. Well, this is going to be hard to digest.... but here is what happened |
|
But basically McCain and Tina Fay (As Palin) did a QVC sales special. McCain sold things like steak knives(to cut Pork), Gold Necklaces (Cindy stood behind them and did a sales presentation!) and Tina basically destroyed Palin in between his sales presentations. There was even a part where she cut off McCain and he just stood there acting upset. At one point, Tina (Palin) walked away, camera went on her, and she announced she was going rogue for this segment of the QVC special and held up a Palin 2012 T-Shirt. Flash back to McCain... he laughed!

Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 10:37 PM by sfam
I don't think it hurts him either.
Bottom line, I'm just glad they only let this McCain out of the bottle twice. Had he run like this instead of the "Get off my lawn" angry man, he'da been LOTS closer.
