Palin's babysitters travelling with her on Alaskans' dime
Edited on Sat Nov-01-08 10:39 PM by rainbow4321
Interesting bit on Andrew Halcro's blog on whether or not Palin is having babysitter's fees passed onto AK taxpayers while she is campaigning.

http://www.andrewhalcro.com/the_100_000_per_year_babysitter

Caption: Kris Perry (holding the Governor's son): Annual government salary: $100,000 per year. Cost to Alaska taxpayers for traveling with the governor on the campaign trail: $1,000 per day. Free help with the kids: Priceless

From the comment section:

Andrew you are so wrong about Kris Perry
She isn't the Palin's babysitter. It is completely appropriate that Kris travel with Governor while she campaigns, so there is a state person with her to act as the liaison. The Governor has two other people on the state payroll doing babysitting. Ivey Frye and Track Palin's girlfriend are the two doing the babysitting on the state dime.....not Kris Perry.

I Feel Much Better Now
***The Governor has two other people on the state payroll doing babysitting. Ivey Frye and Track Palin's girlfriend are the two doing the babysitting on the state dime.....not Kris Perry.*** Well, that certainly makes me feel so much better...that is, I feel very glad that I'm not an Alaskan citizen paying the freight for Palin's personal life's decisions. I shudder to think of what she will have the federal taxpayers footing the bill for should she get that far. I have only one more word to add: RECALL.

What next?
Just when you think it couldn't possibly get any worse, it gets worse. I certainly don't want to contribute to her run for vice president. Between all our crooked State politicians and Washington senators who have been convicted, and our "governor in absentia" who abuses her power, how much more can Alaska take. Am I alone in my total embarrassment? Thank goodness they put Andrew and Mr. French on TV so the Lowere 48 can see there are some educated, reasonable, honest people left in Alaska. And I know why so many people down there show up to Palin rallies ---- people always want to gawk at the car accident or train wreck.

2. I'm surprised the prima donna doesn't have an official dresser
to put her Valentino designer clothes on her and off her, as well as an official masseur and someone to draw her bath.

3. Any tutors on that payroll? If not, these kids should be in school.

"Track Palin's girlfriend"

Uh, WHY is she tagging along? And IS she on the state payroll? Then there was the rumor waaaaaayyyy back when that Trig was really Track's son (second runner up possible -gate to Trig being Bristol's).

9. I'd be pretty pissed if I was an AK taxpayer
Sounds like she and her entourage are traveling the country on their dime and not Mcgramp's.
And what is up with Todd not being able to watch/take care of his own kids?

10. Track's girlfriend? When the rumors surrounding Trig's birth started, I had a theory
that perhaps if Palin wasn't really pregnant, why did Bristol have to be Trig's mother? Couldn't the baby be Track's? Just thinking outloud here...BTW... where are Barbie's medical records?

I keep thinking of the quote from Levy that was in the news recently...he surfaced long enough for a newspaper to ask him if he thought mcgramps/moosebreath would win, he goes "she better win, she's my future mother in law". Yeah, good luck with THAT Levi. Come Nov 5th, pretty sure you can scratch that wedding date off your calender.

13. Why does Todd seem to be so allergic to his own son?
I mean.. have we ever seen a tender moment with those two? I saw him hold him once.. and he handed Trig over to the little daughter.
