Figure that a lot of the undecideds are not political junkies and don't know much about the issues. Well, you don't need to in order to tell that this woman is an idiot and has no business even near the oval office.

2. I especially loved the inane girly laughs when she didn't really get what the
prankster said, but thought she had to go along with the French Prez. Also, the very end when she was talking to her staff, and they made her hang up.

5. I hadn't thought about that - but it just hit me how naive she was -
and how dangerous that would be if she were prez. Talk about countries testing her - yikes.

6. Exactly,
and you don't have to be a close follower of the presidential race to "get" that.

7. Comedy has powerful subconscious powers of revelation.
I think it's that when the ego is down, the truth can come in much easier. That's how I see Jon Stewart. Let the ego down, and throw truth into the empty space that's open.

We've really come a long ways since the mid 90's. Especially since 2004. Thank the republicans for waking us up. Sorry it took a war.

It's not that she's not ready, it's that she's not qualified...NONE~ Not even for a mayor, governor, much less VP/President. I wonder about Alaskans who voted her in..an idiot like that. Ugh! Just because she can shoot ???

12. November surprise
I think most of the "undecideds" are people who just don't want to say who they favor. My experience is that a lot of people think that their political preferences are a private matter and nobody else's business. I agree that the real undecideds probably don't know much about the issues and are likely to seize on this trivial incident. Like the person whose opinion on an issue reflects the opinion of the last person he talked to.

"Sorry" from 49% of Americans may have been enough in 2004, but they're taking no chances this year.

17. Thanks very much.
And yeah, Philly's getting really fired up!

The voting machines have arrived at my polling location. I'm so excited!

This is what's gracing the cover of Philly's weekly City Paper.

10. I got that from the title.
Ooh that's so exciting. You should start a new thread for that. It should get a lot of recs.

I'm in NYC...excitement is in the air. I saw an ObamaGuy in my bus (M4) and he had Obama buttons on an Obama cap, about 15, that doesn't count his bag (which was Obama/Michelle or Obama/Biden crazy) and his Obama shirt and he had a button on his sneakers. Then I saw in my school several of the profs at Obama pins on their lapels. I go to Colin Powell's college, some of us weren't keen on his Bush run, however he moved up a lot of estimations and got CCNY even more excited (which I couldn't really believe was possible).

And just Thursday we had a huge turn out for an Obama made by some students. I can't seem to find it on Youtube now, but I'll get it to you on Monday if you're interested. The only unfortunate thing is that most people at my school are voting for him because he's Black. None were on top of the issues, which was extremely disappointing...but at least, as I've been told, they're excersing their right to vote.

20. I can't believe any other story is being talked about today.

WTH else matters after that? That tape needs to be on MSM in full. That is news. That is relevant to the choice in this election totally.

If it were Obama or Biden, they'd be playing it non-stop 24/7 until election day.

24. My reaction
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 03:39 PM by Hope2006
The prank exemplified how much she is enamored of herself.

Because of this, she does not "hear" what is actually being said to her. She is so caught up in how she will respond and how she will be perceived in an important situation such as this, that her responses are only geared to make her seem so "really positive and efficient (you betcha)".

Fortunately, this was caught on tape.

IMO, she is an imposter in the sense that she is not even remotely fit to fill the VP position.

IMO (again) -- that interview proves this.
