"Senator John McCain's Valedictory SNL Performance"
That's what it's going to be known as. Mark my words.

1. Well, it's too little, too late for it to make a difference in the election.

3. That's why it was "valedictory"
Adj. 1. valedictory - of or relating to an occasion or expression of farewell; "a valedictory address"; "valedictory praise for his uniformly manly course"; "a suitable valedictory gesture"

He basically conceded the election tonight.

He knows he's done and nothing can save his campaign, so he threw his campaign and Sarah Palin pre-emptively under the bus.

4. I Think He Humiliated Himself And Demeaned The Office Of The .....
presidency. If he won now - I don't know that any foreign leader would have any respect for him.

7. IMHO Way Over The Top Self Deprecating Humor.......
first sketch was He and Palin(Tina Fey)on QVC. Said they couldn't afford buying network time for a 30 minute infomercial like Obama - and all they could get was a spot on QVC where they had to sell stuff to campaign: 10 commemorative plates of the town hall meetings he had with Obama - the plates were displayed and where just plain white plates; sets of pork knives - you can imagine where that one went; then Palin had a Ayers Room Deodorizer and a t-shirt that said Palin for President 2012. I think he humiliated himself and threw Palin under the bus. I'm sure you see youtube clips of it.

The other sketch was on Weekend Update - this is the one where he really humiliated himself - A Grumpy Grandpa; A Reverse Maverick - this one you will just have to wait to see to believe.

Ben Affleck was great. He did a spot on impression of Alec Baldwin and another of Keith O on Countdown.

Affleck also endorsed McCain in his opening spot on the show. He went through all the Dem candidates he's back in his lifetime and they all lost. So that's why he endorsed McCain.

They also took Elizabeth Hasselbeck to task with a sketch about The View.

8. Affleck's Keith O impression was hilarious, he had a hard time ...
keeping a straight face, which made it even funnier.

10. I didn't mean to come off wrong.
I think he was concentrating on trying to rebuild his post-election reputation tonight.
