10. I take it that Obama was walking in the water and not on it.

the hard floor was it wood or another material? How did you know the water was cold? Was it commented on or did you feel it? What was Obama's reaction to the water and other things in the dream?

Here are several takes. The shoes are porous so they would absorb the water, the water is cold so that would make him having 'cold feet.'

The floor is 'hard' and the water is 'cold'. He is walking through the water and his shoes would give 'no protection'. If he continues to walk through the water, without any reaction it could mean that he is going to have to have 'hard' times and have to withstand 'coldness' from his surroundings with 'no protection' from those he depends on.

Other meanings could come from the answers to the questions I asked above. What we feel in a dream is often more important than what we see.

When a dream is puzzling I always rely on how I feel in a it. But I have another take on the meaning of your dream, though you are the only one who can best interpret it.

To me, the hard floor means Obama is well grounded though things underfoot are fluid and in flux, and cold meaning that current conditions are not good. Even though he is protected (tennis shoes), the shoes are not ideal for dealing with cold, wet conditions so he may not be completely prepared. But since he is wearing tennis shoes, to me, it means that he is relaxed and ready to play and/or rumble. I remember that people who know him say he is a fierce competitor in the game of basketball but manages to always keep cool and play hard, just as we've seen him run his campaign.

Anyway, IMHO, if it were my dream, I think that even though you know Obama is a well grounded man and he wins the presidency, you're worried that he may not be totally prepared or able to fix the myriad of problems created in the country these past 8 years.
