McCain conceded the election on Saturday Night Live. That's historic.
His appearance was something you would expect to see a week or two after he lost.

2. Somehow, it put me at ease. I never wanted to believe he was the creature he became for the campaign
It was almost as if he was evening a score with the GOP.

4. He was a man who completely lost himself
and now who knows. He appeared to hate the whole run
and couldn't hide any of his misery. He made Nixon seem comfortable.
It's true, he seemed more at ease on SNL, but detached
from the humiliation, or above it, as if he were being cleansed
in some way, felt it, and had no idea of how it looked to others.

8. I don't blame him.
He knows Palin has ruined his campaign. While it's his fault for not vetting her properly, I still understand his frustration towards her. So he let the skit slide.
