3. I haven't slept good in 2 weeks.
And on Tuesday night I plan on being up until dawn. The problem is that I want to be awake during the day on Wednesday to listen to Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin etc to hear the devastation in their voices and to hear their excuses for why they lost. Plus, I want to watch Faux & Friends just so I can laugh at Gretchen Carlson while she cries in her coffee. So I don't think I'll be getting much sleep until late Wednesday night.

4. Somewhat. I just want the election over and see some work get done.
Our government, our tax structure, everything is just in such a shambles. I'm looking for pragmatism.

5. I've been sleeping o.k. but very stressed...
..when I'm stressed I usually can't sleep. When I'm depressed I sleep very deeply and a lot. Right now I seem to be doing the latter, but not for only election related reasons, although that's not helping.

But similarly if we win on Tuesday it's going to really help my mood and my mental state.

But I am very worried. I've started panicking.

9. I'm working 12-hr nights this week, so thank goodness it keeps me occupied at
night. But now during the day, I sleep a couple of hours then turn on MSNBC and just halfway sleep. I'm afraid I'll miss something. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

anxiety since it was all stolen from Gore. Seriously. But it has been worse in the past few weeks. LOL I just woke up, and I live in northern California, and I went to bed around 11:00.

posting; when he was up in the night, he forgot to log me out and log in with his username.

Not that I'm not getting anxious and worried myself and just want this to be over with already!

25. Four drops either on or under the tongue.
Make sure you don't have any strong tastes in your mouth (toothpaste, etc.) as it counters the remedy. It usually comes in a bottle with dropper.

26. Sorry - and 'Rescue Sleep'
is a spray - spray twice on the tongue. The other I described is 'Rescue Remedy' for anxiety.

15. I always get up early but my peace of mind is shot
I will be glad to vote and be done with this part of it. I now wish I had voted in the mail as I bet there will be a long line and I have to get a ride to the polls since I gave my car away. I will stay and vote if I have to walk the 3 miles home believe me.

18. Since you are up, I will bore you with my theory of sleep cycles.
This may even put you to sleep.

Have you noticed how older people tend to go to bed early and get up very early? Have you noticed that teenagers prefer to stay up late and sleep in?

I'm not talking about stress induced insomnia or sleeplessness caused by shift changes. I'm referring to those times when there are no controls on sleeping patterns, most older people will fall asleep early and get up early, while teenagers and twenty-somethings will stay up late and sleep in.

I think this is an adaptive behavior developed when we lived in small tribes. Think about it. Is it wise to have the whole tribe asleep at the same time? If tribal members developed different sleep patterns where the young and older members rotated in shifts, then this would provide more protection and security from attacks. And if the younger members were awake during the most predatory active periods (nighttime) and the most difficult to protect times, it would make sense.

But thanks to massive farming techniques and the industrial revolution, humans have changed their sleeping patterns to adjust in unnatural ways.

Ok, go back to sleep.

Obama is going to win.

30. Can I add some of my theory?
After a year of stress from a terrible divorce and little to no sleep for a year, I figured it was adaptive for early man to not sleep during stressful periods. If there was a lion around, you might survive better by staying awake. Even thought I was only sleeping an hour or two at the most, I was functional and awake during the day. As the stress was reduced, I started to sleep more. I hope I don't offend anyone here, but, never marry a cop.

19. I woke up 2 hours ago.
I'm on the west coast so this is definitely the middle of the night for me. I'm usually an insomniac but it's been really bad this last week. I'm not worried but I still have anxiety...if that makes sense. LOL.

and hope the Dems will fight for our votes and expose the vote flipping, tainted machines.
