4. Brokaw tosses softballs to Thompson and curveballs to Kerry - Kerry gets Obama's back
and when Brokaw brings up Lieberman, Kerry deftly downplays it and keeps it from becoming a 'divided Dems' story - and you just know that was what Brokaw was aiming for. Obama wants to show ONLY UNITY at this point, and Kerry doesn't take Brokaw's bait.

5. Kerry has been Obama's best surrogate this year
I guess you missed Kerry's incredible speech at the convention this year - called the best non-acceptance speech in two decades by the NYT. Then consider that it was one of the few speeches not vetted by Obama's team. It was also written by Kerry himself.

Kerry nearly won in a year where at the end of the year before Generic Republican beat generic Democrat by double digits. The wrong track number was 47 then and is near 80 now.

6. Yet isn't it funny that
Kerry helped Obama to win the Democratic nomination when the other side had a former President and Former FirstLlady/Senator?

Kerry is nothing like Fred Thompson, and it absurd to even make the comparison.

7. If YOU can't get excited about the lawmaker who uncovered more government corruption than any
lawmaker in modern history that shows YOUR lack of depth about what matters in this nation.

Those who CARE about this nation's ACTUAL history and the accountability of government that is open to the citizen find Kerry very exciting. Of course, having multiple affairs and distracting the American people with demagoguery is always more 'exciting' than having real workhorses who respect the citizens' right to open government, eh?
