http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday once again shows Barack Obama with 51% of the vote while John McCain is five points back at 46%. This is the 38th straight day that Obama’s support has stayed between 50% and 52% (see trends).

For the past seven days, Obama has been ahead by three to five points. For the month before that, the Democratic nominee was up by four to eight points every day.

Tracking Poll results are released every day at 9:30 a.m. Eastern and a FREE daily e-mail update is available. There are just two more nights of tracking before our final results for Election 2008 are published on Tuesday morning. We will also release data from Election Night polling throughout Tuesday evening.

But, even after the election has come and gone, our daily tracking will continue. Rasmussen Reports will release final updates from our Election Night polling on Wednesday morning. The next day we will release our first, daily tracking results of the President-Elect and the transition to a new Administration. We will also continue daily updates on consumer and investor confidence while measuring public reaction to events in the news and other topics.

5. Ras Doesn't Poll Cell Phone Users
I'm not one who thinks there is a huge difference because polls are weighted but even studies that say there is no (significant) difference betweem cell and non cell users of the same demographic there is a (small) difference...You can add a point to Obama's total...

4. That's good since they changed the party weightings to favor Republicans
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 09:30 AM by HughMoran
I think it's reflected in this poll? If not, tomorrows - see below:

"For polling data released during the final days of Election 2008, the partisan weighting targets will be 39.9% Democratic, 33.4% Republican, and 26.7% unaffiliated."

"For polling data released during the week of October 26-November 1, 2008, the partisan weighting targets will be 40.0% Democratic, 32.8% Republican, and 27.2% unaffiliated."

Note that this gives an added 0.7% to the Republicans.
