1. No doubt NC is close. It's now about the ground game
The OH poll looks to be a slight anomoly, but again ground game is vital.

2. For Mason Dixon polls that is actually quite good for us. They have a built in
right wing bias, and for us to be winthin the margin of error actually means we are winning

3. These are the numbers MSNBC is going nuts over this morning.
Claiming there's been a momentum shift to McCain and he could now win. No worries though; M/D polling is probably not the best and is certainly the outlier.

They have to do this to play for their "election plaza" etravaganza on Tueday; who would watch if the race wasn't close???

4. I'm sure NC is close, and M-D has been a more conservative pollster
That said, McCain will be climbing out of a hole on election day in NC. I don't think the ladder is tall enough!

5. Reality
Those are dead heats. This Is not 2004 when deadheats actully was good news for Republicans.Mccain
has no ground game.Obama does.Obama Is up 5-11 nationally. This makes It harder for Mccain to pull off
swing states.Mason Dixon leans Republican and during the primarys often had Obama underperforing.

6. Columbus Dispatch has half the MOE and probably less Republican offset
I think we're going to win Ohio.

7. Pollster.com is not listing Mason-Dixon numbers in their tallies for either NC or Ohio.
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 09:50 AM by Buzz Clik
They show NC as being too close to call (Obama up by 1.8%) and Ohio being a 6.7% lead for Obama, trending away from McCain.

8. Those aren't exactly earthquake numbers. Those are well within sampling error.
