6. MSM only reports the M-D polls that makes McCain look good...
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 10:51 AM by dennis4868
but there are plenty of poll numbers that look great for Obama in very red states...Georgia, Lousianna, etc...

By the way, have a great day Jennicut! :-)

2. Looks good to me
This is the most conservative poll so far, in terms of Obama support.

3. Even stupid Mason-Dixon has Obama leading in almost all the battleground states
Ohio is actually looking good for Obama lately in other polls and Missouri is tied!

5. Though All Are Within Margin Of Error
I am somewhat surprised that Virginia is now listed as close given Nancy P saying that Northern Virginia is not real Virginia.

He's leading in all the states he needs. Considering M/D has had a republican lean, this will now be about turnout in OH, FL, NC, and MO. Many have voted, but if we can get the folks out in those states, Obama can take them.

It looks like Obama's got a firewall. I'm really happy to see them giving Obama the lead in NV, CO, and VA. He's up in all the Western states, except AZ. VA actually has improved in Obama's favor by one point since the last poll (I last saw it at 2 points).

I notice that M/D always has more undecideds/other than most other poll companies. Anyone know why? Do they not push leaners as hard? I rarely see a candidate above fifty when they lead in a poll.

8. not that I give these polls a lot of credence, but look at the dates...
Unless they were calling people at 9:00 at night on 10/29, the calls were made before Obama's 30-min ad. Not that he would necessarily get a huge bounce out of it, but it should at least effect these numbers somewhat.

15. All within the margin of error. I hope we get a good share of undecideds, or it could get scary.
Mason-Dixon is a tough poller, but they had a pretty good track record during the primaries.
