"Stay Out of the Range of My Guns"

Got a story from the Civil War for you that reminds me of the bitching, complaining, threatening crap of the McCain campaign and their claims of "internal poll" numbers that spell a McCain upset:

A detachment of Rebs came across a Union fort (in KY or TN?), surrounded it, and the battle raged for hours. Finally, the Reb commander sent a note into the fort under a white flag which told the Union commander that he was surrounded, would lose and, therefore, should surrender the fort to "prevent the further effusion of blood".

Awhile later a note came back under the white flag from the Union commander. It read, "to prevent the further effusion of blood, stay out of the range of my guns"!!!!

Yup, I'd like to suggest that McCain hunker down for these next few days because come Tuesday night, he's going to get his ass blown off by the big guns of Ft. OBAMA!!
