Do any of you REALLY think the Pukes are going to wait in ANY line longer than a few minutes to vote like we will. Palin gets 2700 people at a rally, we get 100,000. Who wants it more, us or them, and don't come here with this "steal the election" bullshit, they can't pull it off, the sheer numbers are against them, and that means they have to fiddle with the House and Senate races too.

6. I agree but one problem with this reasoning: the long lines (cities) will be the Dem voter areas.
Sparse rural parts of OH, IN and PA will have short waiting times for their Republican voters. Just the way party divisions in geographical areas play out.

I'm not too worried about our chances though, but someone pointed this out to me the other day and I have a hard time refuting it.

7. The registrations and early voting nullify that to a great degree
People registered as Dems outnumber Pukes by a 3 to 2 margin from what I recently read. I am confident, moreso than at any other time in my political past.

If we lose, blame me.:scared:

14. That's been on my mind as well. It really drives home the issue of voter disenfranchisement
One way or another, I hope by the next Presidential election this issue is resolved.

16. Yes but the areas where there are a smattering of Repugs in heavily Dem areas
The long lines may discourage them from waiting in line. I think excitement has a lot to do with turnout and the patience to wait in lines that may become a long wait.

17. Dems have patience as a natural born trait
along with many other wonderful traits the Pukes don't have.

8. I would've thought that her crowds would be larger
if not for just the curiosity aspect of being able to see her in person. Well that and any horny repug who might have harbored fantasies about boinking her. But I agree. I believe this and the number of new voter registrations, the early voting turnout, plus other factors bode well for Obama.

I'm still fighting off bouts of antsy-ness.

p.s. But eat something. I stopped eating for a while after the 2004 debacle, and it wasn't a good thing.
