This is the First Election EVER where a 7 point National Lead is considered close |
|
CNN just released their Final National Poll just taken Oct. 30-Nov. 1. And they say there you go Obama up by 7 points. But its still very close.
WTF? 7 points in a National Election is a landslide.

2. That's what I thought! This BS has me crazy. How is it possible for |
|
Obama to lose. New registrations, early voting, the polls. Is it just the greed for ratings?

3. It's not bias. Just business. |
|
If a MSM outlet flat out says "Listen, the election is in less than 48 hours and Obama has a 7 point lead. The race is over." then no one has a reason to tune into the outlet.
If they play up the drama and say the race is tightening, despite all evidence to the contrary, then more people stay glued to the television. Which equals ratings. Which equals money.

5. Oh it's definitely bias. If McCain were up, we would have "The race is over" stories. (nt) |

4. Yes it is. Clinton won by 202 EV's in 92' with a 5.6% lead in pop. vote. |

6. This is a poll. It's technically close due to |
|
caging, suppression, the poll tax of long lines (voters waiting for hours), vote-flipping and tossing machines, and other election control mechanisms in play. If you consider the hurdles that have to be overcome by the electorate to get their chosen candidate into office, a 10+ point lead could be considered "close".
