I can't even watch The McLaughlin Group anymore....
Monica Crowley is simply awful. Not even listenable. She says so many goofy things that you can't keep track of them let alone rebut. Not even worth watching.

Tony Blankley was at least interesting to listen to and he could make a coherent point and/or argument. She's so radical it's a waste of time and not even entertaining. It used to be one of my favorite political shows, it had a good mix of people who had interesting debate. Maybe I rarely agreed with John, Pat and Tony and was more inclined to agree with Eleanor Clift and whomever was the other guest, but I at least appreciated and respected the opposing viewpoints. Not with her though, too goofy and mostly flat out wrong.

2. Tired and boring.....
My parents still watch it for some reason. Even Eleanor Clift is a total bore now. All Monica is there to do is show some leg.

4. how can somebody have the advanced degrees she has and still sound so stupid?
Compare her to Rachel Maddow and see who is more intelligent and knowledgeable about politics, foreign affairs etc etc.

3. I never thought I'd wish for Tony Blankley to return
Her gobbling up time with her endless comments seems to be getting on Eleanor Clift's nerves, too. I watched it here Friday night and was tempted to write to McL. But from how he conducted the program trying to tear down Obama instead of being fair minded, I decided to just stop watching. Well, if Obama is elected I'll watch one more time to see them eat crow and then I'll stop. :D

7. I never could watch it...
...too much shouting, too little substantive conversation.

That's the problem with most of the political shows, really. People trying to promote their side's agenda and shouting down the other person -- and the Republics have brought that to a high (low) art.

I just can't tolerate that kind of "discussion". McLaughlin Group has always been a shoutfest. Too bad, since it at least does provide differing viewpoints. But it makes me want to throw things at the TV -- I gave it up over a decade ago, have caught the occasional program maybe once or twice a year since then, never regretted tuning it out.

10. Without Jack Germond, that show has fallen into the abyss of shouting match TV.
Monica Crowley needs to learn to keep her mouth closed when other people are talking.
