torture....huh? McCain gave in to Bush on the waterboarding issue....why does Obama give McCain credit for breaking away from Bush on torture....it simply is not true.....is Obama just not informed....I find this hard to believe....

Convincing average folks that McCain, the war hero 5-year-POW guy, could have ever been for torture or against many veterans' issues will be challenging, to the say the least. It is not worth waging that uphill battle when no one cares.

talk about campaign finance reform or global warming....there are some real issues that McCain did break away from Bush but why name one that is not true?

There are segments that still care about global warming. It would be ill-advised to bring up campaign finance reform for obvious reasons. It is better to give him ground where everyone expects him to gain ground, whether he deserves it or not.
