Ohio - Columbus Dispatch Poll (10/22 to 10/31) - O 52% M 46%
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 03:19 PM by Median Democrat
This poll has a wider margin than the Mason-Dixon Poll, but it is a newspaper poll, so take it for what its worth as to which one is more accurate.

1. Not too accurate but if history is to be trusted this poll has predicted
the Presidential Ohio winner in several decades. However, high margin of error.

11. Did you catch this comment from a McCain supporter?:
But McCain will get the vote of Pete Thompson, 40, an accountant/business broker from Powell.

"John McCain has the most experience, and he will keep my taxes the same," he said of the Arizona Republican. "I do not trust Barack Obama. He has not provided everything about his background including work experience, school transcripts, birth certificate, etc."

Freeper.

19. Exactly, Agree That Sodan Is An Idiot
He keeps on saying I was referring to MOE when I just said margin in my OP. And the Columbus Dispatch poll has a wider marging between Obama and McCain than the Mason-Dixon poll, but the Mason-Dixon Poll has a larger MOE.

Sadly, some folks still don't understand MOE, and think it means margin of victory.

24. Still Haven't Apologized? For Mistaking "MOE" for "Margin"?
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 04:24 PM by Median Democrat
There is a difference.

Margin: A measure, quantity, or degree of difference.

margin of error: a statistic expressing the amount of random sampling error in a survey's results. The larger the margin of error, the less faith one should have that the poll's reported results are close to the "true" figures; that is, the figures for the whole population.
