Forget the national polls. |
|
Electoral college votes are decided by state. Obama will keep Kerry states (252 electoral votes) and will pick up the 18 EVs needed to reach 270.

Barack is handily ahead in all of them.

5. Because the state polls are a better indicator of |
|
how people will vote in each state. Take Missouri, for example, Obama could win there.

And my point is, it's not an either/or proposition. False dichotomy. Barack is ahead in BOTH state and national polling, so I'm not going to forget either one.

9. It's not a false dichotomy |
|
There is no national electoral vote. The election is decided based on the electoral college map. The fact that he's ahead in both doesn't change how the election will be decided, state by state.

You're not educating me. I know how the EC works. You created a false dichotomy by saying "forget the national polls," and indicating that they don't matter. Actually, as predictive measurements, they do. And Barack's ahead everywhere. So relax.

2. Ohio and Pa may have to come off. It is tightening with more |

undecideds. Would we win without them?

3. I have a hard time believing there are 9-10% undecided voters in some states. |
|
Fact is, pollsters still need to sell their polls. If they showed Obama winning, they wouldn't sell.

8. I was just watching the MSNBC map update. It's giving him a |
|
national lead, but in PA and Ohio McC is ahead by 1 in Ohio and a 9% undecided in Pa.
I think McC with all the robocalls is frightening the voters. This is so bad for our country. How could REpubs ever vote for McC who is using the same underhanded methods used disgustingly against him by *.
Can't they tell that they are being scared stupid? They have to shake off these outrageous lies and vote smart for a change in this country this is not who we are supposed to be .
They love to boast land of the brave, yet they can't see how they are being cowed into voting for a jittery, clueless, ambitiously corrupt, not country first, win at any cost, last chance, celebrating loving, plane crashing war prisoner, senator, who has not stood up for the things you would think, like veterans rights and who has been anti-black all his life.
Brave is not what I see. I see scared stupid!
